For kitchens where a full 60cm hood is a squeeze, a 52cm canopy is often the right answer — same effective extraction, tucks up under a cabinet, doesn't dominate the wall. The Electrolux LFG235S punches above its size with a 330 m³/h extraction rate, which is actually the highest of the four Electrolux hoods we stock. It slots into a shallow cabinet at 165mm tall and 284mm deep, so a standard 300mm-depth wall unit swallows it easily. The 330 m³/h extraction rate is genuinely strong for the size; it'll clear steam from a wok or a pot of boiling pasta faster than most 60cm hoods rated at 272 m³/h. Q: Will it fit under a standard wall cabinet?
A: Yes — 300mm-deep wall cabinets are standard in Irish kitchens, and this hood is 284mm deep. Check the internal height of your cabinet is at least 165mm.

Q: What's the difference between canopy and integrated?
A: A canopy hood tucks up under a cabinet with the front edge visible. An integrated hood (like the LFE216S) is hidden completely and slides out to use. Canopy is generally simpler to install.

Q: Charcoal filter included?
A: Yes — the ECFB03 charcoal filter is supplied for recirculation mode. Replace every 3-4 months of regular use.
