What actually makes a difference

The LED lighting is the one people underestimate before they buy — a bright, cool-white light directly over the hob makes a real difference when you're browning meat or checking whether pasta is done. A: A charcoal filter for recirculation mode is included. Ducting to an external outlet requires a separate 120mm duct kit — ask in-store or add one to your order.

Q: Minimum height above the hob?
A: 50cm above an electric hob, 70cm above gas. Standard for all Irish and UK cooker hoods.

Q: How often do I replace the charcoal filter?
A: Roughly every 3-6 months in recirculation mode, depending on how heavily you cook. If you're ducted to outside, no charcoal filter is needed.
