Konstantin Grcic designs for Alessi a refined salt, pepper and spice mill that celebrates industrial material in its purest form. Upright and emblematic like a king on a chessboard, KG01 is crafted from a high-precision machined block of aluminum. Its design is a synthesis of form and function: the transition from the cylindrical body to an octagonal profile intuitively guides the twisting motion, while the special sandblasted finish offers an unexpected tactile pleasure.
