Auto ignition means no matches or separate lighters, and every burner is fitted with a flame failure safety device, which automatically cuts the gas supply if a flame goes out — a genuine safety benefit for busy households. Heavy-duty cast iron pan supports keep large pots stable, and an LPG conversion kit is included so the hob can run on bottled gas as well as mains natural gas.
